|General Description of Position:||The Department of Clinical Sciences and the Veterinary Health Center (VHC), College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University, invites applications for a tenure track or clinical track faculty position in Veterinary Radiation Oncology at the rank of assistant, associate, or full Professor. Appointment to tenure track or clinical track will be dependent upon the career goals, qualifications, and preference of the successful applicant.|

|The Successful Candidate will:||The successful candidate will join an established oncology service with two board-certified medical oncologists, an ACVIM-approved medical oncology residency program with two medical oncology residents, and dedicated oncology and radiation oncology technicians. The position will include clinical service, veterinary student and house officer instruction, research, and support of the academic missions of the Department and VHC. The oncology service maintains a robust and diverse caseload with an active and growing clinical research program. In addition to a large referral base, in-house internal medicine, cardiology, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, and zoological medicine services provide referral support for the oncology caseload. The VHC currently houses a Varian 2100 C/D teletherapy unit, a GE BrightSpeed 16-slice CT unit, 3T Toshiba Vantage Galan™ MRI unit, scintigraphy, and Sr-90 plesiotherapy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the radiation oncology service with direct input for equipment and facility upgrades.|
|Required Minimum Qualifications:||Applicants must possess a DVM or equivalent degree and have board certification from the American College of Veterinary Radiology – Radiation Oncology, have completed radiation oncology residency training, or be enrolled in a radiation oncology residency training program.|
|Preferred Qualifications:||Research training and advanced degree(s) are desirable for tenure-track candidates.|
