The IT-X-HD unit aims to provide high quality IT and data analysissolutions for researchers and principal investigators at LIH. By joining ourteam, you will be involved in projects concerning public health research andvarious other support activities for our national partners, e.g. the Ministry ofHealth. As IT Test Automation / Web Developer, you will be designing, developing, running and/or maintaining tests for the various software developed by the unit (manual or automated tests) You will be working in close collaboration with the developers and the different support and platform teams to improve the quality of the implemented solutions and you will supporting the developers in the development of web applications if necessary.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Carry out full range of software testing activities (functional, structural, manual or automated tests)
- Design, develop, run, improve and maintain automated tests
- Assist developers with identifying, reproducing and debugging problems
- Contribute to the design and documentation of test strategies and test plans
- Document, troubleshoot and follow-up on issues found during testing
- Report, prioritize, track, and manage deficiencies
- Contribute to the development of web applications
KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology
- Solution-oriented and pragmatic
- Good organizational and relational skills, precision, ability to manage an important workload and respect deadlines
MANDATORY SKILLS
- Web technologies with a proven ability to adapt and learn new languages
- HTML, Javascript, Typescript
- RESTful API, .NET core (mainly C#)
- Testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jasmin, Protractor, Karma
- Language skills: fluent in English (written and oral)
CONSIDERED AS AN ASSET
- Previous professional experience of 1-3 years in a similar position
- Proficiency in French (written and oral)
- Previous experience with automated testing and release/deployment management (CI/CD)
- Web development framework such as Angular 2+
- Mobile development frameworks, native or cross-platform such as Ionic.
- Environmental tools such as Git, Gitlab, Jira, Docker
- Familiar with Project Management methodologies such as Agile
