Your Job:
- Development and parameterization of mathematical models for the prediction of RNA based on machine learning
- Structure prediction and simulation of RNA
- Publication and presentation of the results on (inter)national conferences and in scientific journals
Your Profile:
“Must have”
- Completed academic university degree in the natural sciences, computer science, mathematics or any related subject with excellent grades
“Want”
- Very good experience in machine learning methods, statistics and/or statistical physics
- Very good programming skills, ideally in C ++ and Python
- Interest in biological issues
- Experience in the efficient use of parallel high-performance computers

The position is for a fixed term of 3 years. Pay in line with 75% of pay group 13 of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD-Bund) and additionally 60 % of a monthly salary as special payment („Christmas bonus“).
