The candidate must have earned a doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D.) in a relevant field such as health promotion, community health, or social work and have or be willing to obtain a board certification from the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching. Primary responsibilities include leading a nationally visible and accredited health coaching certificate program and the Health Behavior Science major; teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in health behavior science and promotion; supervising bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students; and contributing to service activities within and outside of the University.
