A particular area of interest for this project is the role of the human gut microbiota in cancer pathogenesis and therapeutic response. The incumbent will work independently to develop new methodologies using mass spectrometry for the analysis of microbial metabolites. This individual must be familiar with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometry technologies and data analysis, and analytical chemistry techniques.
