This project will use state of the art imaging technologies on unique human and animal tissues we have access to, alongside phenotypic assays and molecular studies, to determine the relationship between nucleolar size, inflammation and cancer initiation. The project will be supported by expert collaborators from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle Universities.
