Prior programming experience is preferred but not required. The postdoctoral scientist will design, perform, and develop new scientific tools for the analysis of long-time and/or large-scale molecular dynamics simulations in collaboration with the PI. The postdoctoral scientist will also collaborate with immunologists, molecular and structural biologists, and virologists as a member of the PCHPI center. Postdoc Position in Quantum Algorithms for New Physics Searches with Quantum Sensors, Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Delaware, Newark, USA. The University of Delaware invites applications for a full-time theoretical posdoc position with the Department of Physics and Astronomy. The postdoc will work in the group of Prof. Marianna Safronova. The primary task will be exploring novel ideas on searches for dark matter and other physics beyond the Standard Model with quantum sensors, including development of quantum algorithms for atomic clocks and other quantum sensors and development of concepts for space missions with quantum technologies for fundamental physics studies. The postdoc position is associated with collaborative QuSeC-TAQS: Novel Quantum Algorithms for Optical Atomic Clocks NSF project and an NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute (Q-SEnSE: Quantum Systems through Entangled Science and Engineering, https://www.colorado.edu/research/qsense). The postdoc will be expected to collaborate with other Q-SEnSE Institute and QuSeC-TAQS members. Position requirements: Ph. D. in physics by the start date of the position with research experience in theoretical particle physics or a related field; prior expertise directly related to primary tasks of this position is strongly preferred. The Center for Health Assessment Research and Translation (CHART) at the University of Delaware (udel.edu/chart) has an opening (start summer 2023) for a full-time research associate to assist our research faculty and scientists in carrying out grant-funded research projects. The Center aims to improve the quality of healthcare and quality of life for rehabilitation populations and individuals with traumatic injury by improving patient assessment tools and practices. In particular, our team of psychologists and psychometricians studies the science and practice of outcomes measurement.
