The School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia – Vancouver campus invites applications for up to three (3) full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor positions. We are particularly interested in applicants with professional expertise and scholarship in clinical ethics or clinical informatics, which are areas complementary to existing School expertise. The anticipated start date for all positions is July 1, 2022.

Successful candidates will be expected to develop an independent, nationally recognized research program that will be innovative and relevant to nursing, to health care practice and/or to policy for the future of health care and people’s health in Canada and beyond. Incumbents are expected to teach core and elective courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise graduate students (both Masters and PhD), and to provide service to the University, the School, and to nursing or health care organisations. Applicants must have earned a PhD in nursing or a related discipline, have demonstrated evidence or possess clear potential to excel in research and teaching and would ideally have prior or current clinical practice experience, either as a nurse, or in practice settings that involve nurses.
