A new academic post for an Immunologist at the University of Aberdeen (UoA) is available through funds raised by the local Aberdeen Charity Saving Sight in Grampian (SSIG). This is an exciting opportunity for an independently minded researcher interested in neurodegenerative diseases such as, but not limited to, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Age-Related Macular Degeneration. The post is appointable at Lecturer level, grade depending on the experience, expertise, and imaginative outlook of the successful applicant. While experience in neurodegenerative disease could be an advantage, it is not essential.
