As part of a large research group, postdoc will mentor graduate students, participate in university-wide activities, and contribute to general lab maintenance and safety. Professional development of Postdoc will be supported by providing opportunities to supervise trainees, assist with accounting, contribute to proposals (though not responsible for generating grant funds), and build professional network in academia and industry. Recent PhD graduates (within 3 years of graduating) with a strong background in cytoskeletal dynamics and/or inflammation will be preferred. No engineering background is required, but interest in biomaterials and mechanobiology is encouraged.
