The Solt lab focuses on understanding and characterizing how nuclear receptors, a family of ligand-regulated transcription factors, influence T cell development, function, and chronic inflammatory diseases. Our goals are two-fold: 1) better understand how nuclear receptors function in immunity, and 2) develop and characterize small molecule ligands that modulate nuclear receptor function as tools to understand biology as well as potential therapeutic approaches.
