We are now looking for a

Project Coordinator

to support internship coordination of the international degree programmes at the Faculty of Education and Psychology.

About the job

You will be working with the Faculty’s three international degree programmes in an international, interdisciplinary team. Your duties include developing connections to create potential internship placements for international students, organising workshops, and producing spaces where international students can meet employers (i.e. Matchmaking platform).

As a project coordinator in our project, you will

• explore and map potential career paths for students, identify internship places and develop materials
• work closely with the internship course teachers and coordinators to develop practices and contents
• engage with companies, organisations, and municipalities for collaboration opportunities
• create awareness and share information about our study programmes and future graduates’ strengths and competencies.

Who are you?

We are looking for an outgoing person with appropriate educational qualifications in educational sciences, psychology, marketing, sociology, or related fields who:

• is well-organized, result-oriented and with great coordination skills
• can collect, manage and explore information and report findings
• has good interaction, communication, networking and marketing skills
• communicates fluently in English and sufficiently in Finnish, which is required for communicating with local and national actors.

We also appreciate knowledge of the faculty’s international study programmes and previous experience of international collaboration.

Salary

This is a fixed-term (55%) part-time position from 01.10.2023 – 30.4.2024. The salary will be based on level MV08 of the demand level chart for other expert and support staff of Finnish universities. In addition, a salary component based on personal work performance will be paid (a maximum of 50 % of the job-specific component). The starting gross salary will be approximately 1 740 euros/month for this part-time position. The trial period is applied to the position with maximum length being half of the employment period.
